Hotel De L’ Annapurna lifts the first Riverside Springs Beach Volleyball Tournament trophy beating Shuvatara School two sets to nil. Mr Shayam S. L Kackchapati, Chairmain of Nanglo International handed over the trophy and prizes to the winning Hotel Annapurna and other participating team.

Mr. Lokendra Chand of  Hotel Annapurna was selected as the best player of the tournament.

The events were held at the beaches of the Riverside Springs Resort, Kurintar on 17th and 18th of November 2006. Altogether eleven teams participated in the residential event.

A special party was organized Friday to celebrate this historic event as it is the first ever beach volleyball tournament held at natural settings.

The event was supported by Nepal Volleyball Association and International Referee Mr. Gautam Lasiva on his opening remarks said that this event has been able to create history and is a contribution to sporting sector of the country.

Mr Shayam S. L Kackchapati repeated his commitment to organize the event on an annual basis.
